THE COUNTY LINE STATE OF MIND 10K 5K AND BASE RUN IS BEING POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING 2021. WE FIRMLY BELIEVE THIS IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR MOVING FORWARD IN LIGHT OF CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS. WE WILL BE CHOOSING A SPRING 2021 DATE IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND WILL ANNOUNCE IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
ALL REGISTRATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED THROUGH OUR ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ROLLED OVER TO THE SPRING 2021 DATE.

ORIGINALLY, THE RACE WAS SCHEDULED FOR SPRING OF 2020 AND HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO COVID-19 TO THE SEPTEMBER DATE. WE LOOK FORWARD TO PLANNING FOR THE INAUGURAL RUN IN SPRING OF 2021!

NO registration on race day, limited entries may be available at packet pick up
There is a 2 hour time limit to complete the 10k race. Those not finishing in that 2 hour window must either move to the sidewalk or catch a ride in our vehicle which will be following the end of the race. There is a 1 hour time limit to complete the 5k race. Those not finishing in that 1 hour window must either move to the sidewalk or catch a ride in our vehicle which will be following the end of the race. At 9:00am traffic will be allowed back on all route streets.
Due to insurance purposes, unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, strollers, baby joggers and other wheeled devices(unless authorized by the race director prior to race day for specific handicap accessibility), animals, and the wearing of headphones are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the race.
If you have entered both the 10K and the 5K you will wear your 10K number and timing tag for the 10K race and your 5K number and timing tag for the 5K race. In order to provide accurate timing, please wear only one number and timing tag at a time. Wearing both devices in either race will impair timing accuracy.
Runners MUST be wearing their official race number on the front to be eligible for Prize Money or Awards. Finish line system will be covered in the race instructions in the Race Packet.
Chip timing will be used for both the 10K and 5K races. A computerized finish line system using the timing tag reader will provide a means for fast and accurate timing of all finishers. Results will be made available as soon as possible following the 5k.

Who's ready to run in the streets of Madison, AL? You're going to get your chance....all you have to do is complete your registration and show up ready to run for the new County Line State of Mind 10k 5k on Saturday SPRING 2021. September 12, 2020 AND original date of May 30, 2020 were postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The City of Madison proudly presents County Line State of Mind 10k 5k for it's inaugural race year. The course is fun, rolling hills with a constant breeze, closed to traffic, and did we mention fun?! The Start and Finish are located at James Clemens High School while the 10k and 5k routes both head out onto County Line Road.
Awards will follow last race at the James Clemens Jetsplex.
County Line State of Mind 10k 5k raises money to fund scholarships for youth in need to attend City of Madison Parks and Recreation Department sports such as baseball, swimming, softball, and more.
Funds will also be used for a project at Palmer Park and at James Clemens High School Baseball complex.
