ROAD CLOSURES
Roads surrounding race route will close from 6:45am and open as the race progresses and completes working northward on County Line Road. All roads will reopen by 9:05am regardless.
TIME LIMIT
Both races conclude at 9am. Those not finishing by then must either move to the sidewalk or catch a ride in our vehicle which will be following the end of the race. At 9:00am traffic will be allowed back on all route streets.
SAFETY
Due to insurance purposes, unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, strollers, baby joggers and other wheeled devices(unless authorized by the race director prior to race day for specific handicap accessibility), animals, and the wearing of headphones are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the race.
ELIGIBILITY
Runners MUST be wearing their official race number on the front to be eligible for Prize Money or Awards. Finish line system will be covered in the race instructions in the Race Packet.
FINISH TIMES & RESULTS:
Chip timing will be used for both the 10K and 5K races. A computerized finish line system using the timing tag reader will provide a means for fast and accurate timing of all finishers. Results will be made available as soon as possible following the 5k.

Come get your County Line cred! We also have a Fun Run the Bases at the JC Baseball Field with the JC Baseball team for kiddos up to age 12 so make sure to register your kiddos!
The City of Madison's signature race, County Line State of Mind 10k 5k, is a road race that literally allows you to run in the street. The course is fun, rolling hills with a constant breeze, closed to traffic, and did we mention fun?!
The Start and Finish are located at James Clemens High School while the 10k and 5k routes both head out onto County Line Road using the right two lanes each direction.
Route is USATF Santioned and USATF certified. Chip timing is used for both the 10k and 5k. Awards ceremony will follow last race at the James Clemens Jetsplex.

Awards will follow last race at the James Clemens Jetsplex.
County Line State of Mind 10k 5k raises money to fund scholarships for youth in need to attend City of Madison Parks and Recreation Department sports such as baseball, swimming, softball, and more.
Funds will also be used for facility and program improvements at James Clemens High School Baseball complex.
